After-School Programs

Spring Session Jan. 5th – May 1st

Classes are small allowing for intense and
individualized instruction!

Monday - Musical Theater - $50 a month

    4:00 - 5:15: MT Group I
    5:15 - 6:30: MT Group II

    Children will explore the art of storytelling as they take the written page to the stage. This class combines improvisation games and activities, dance and choreography, and choral and instrument instruction. The course will conclude with an all-children-cast Musical. Ages 5-11.

    This session will feature John Jacobson’s BUGZ! There’s going to be a picnic and everyone is pitchin; in… The Lady Bugs are in charge of proper etiquette, The Army Ants will handle security, The Fireflies are in charge of lighting, and entertainment will be provided by the Bumble Bees. Looks like everything is set! But what’s this!?! The Stink Bug wants to come too! Buzz on over to the country-style hoedown and help the critters rescue the party! Songs include: Goin’ on a picnic, Be a Lady, Firefly, March of the Army Ants, and Things Change.

Tuesday - Group Piano - $50 a month

    4:00 - 5:00: Group Piano I
    5:00 - 6:00: Group Piano II

    Accepting students 6 and up.
    Three students per group.
    Students will rotate through three 20-minute stations.
    1. Traditional One-on-One Instruction.
    2. Technique and Finger-work Games.
    3. Theory and Notation Activities.
    This method of Piano instruction is a lot of fun and has proved to be successful with any proficiency level.
